Voted by his peers as a Top Doc in Phoenix Magazine, Dr. Michael A. Seivert is an honors graduate of Brophy College Preparatory, Arizona State University, and North Texas State University Medical School. He graduated in the top of his medical school class in 1984 and chose to return to Phoenix to complete his medical internship and residency, specializing in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. Since 1989, Dr. Seivert has been practicing in the Valley of the Sun.
Affiliated with the Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopedics, Dr. Seivert received training from experienced doctors responsible for the precise and efficient treatment and rehabilitation of the Phoenix Suns and local university, junior college, and high school teams. In addition, he was a team physician for Arizona State University, Scottsdale Community College, Arizona Western Junior College, and North High School. He has been honored as a Fellow in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. To keep on the edge of technology and innovation, Dr. Seivert maintains membership in numerous associations:

Being a life long athlete, Dr. Seivert understands all that it takes to compete at your best. It started at Brophy College Preparatory, where he participated in varsity football, baseball, basketball, and track & field for the Broncos. Dr. Seivert moved on to Arizona State University, where he played linebacker for 5 seasons under Sun Devil Head Coach Frank Kush. Being mentored by a College Football & ASU Hall of Fame legend, Dr. Seivert learned what dedication, hard work, discipline, and perseverance truly meant under Coach Kush. He was part of the 1975 ASU team, which finished (12-0), defeated Nebraska in the Fiesta Bowl, and ended the season ranked # 2 in the country. The ‘75 squad remains the highest ranked team in Arizona State Football history. Since college, Dr. Seivert has applied those life lessons into his professional career. Using his athletic experiences as an advantage, Dr. Seivert takes great pride in treating and rehabilitating athletes of all ages. His understanding and ability to communicate with his patients continues to be one of his greatest strengths.
